This simple golf practice drill has been a staple of mine for years and I have shared with friends and private students. I’m actually amazed I have not shared it before now as it’s one of the best golf swing practice drills and tools to dial in a golf swing and to stay balanced, centered and smooth in the golf swing.

Before phones with screens I used to use a small mirror or a reflective tin. Anything to help see a reflection. Failing that, a shadow in the correct place does the job. But playing golf in the UK for most of my career does not give too many reliable opportunities to use a shadow to improve a golf swing!
