HERE’S YOUR SIMPLE GOLF PRINCIPLES AND FUNDAMENTALS KEYS

If there is one thing I have learned about the golf swing, it’s that there is no secret formula or silver bullet that works for everyone in every situation. There is an abundance of advice out there on what to do and what not to do, but the one thing I can tell you is all that advice will do you no good if you don’t have a solid foundation of basic golf swing principles.

A solid base on which you can stand on with any new equipment, any golf club, or any shot.

Every day at the golf course I see people randomly doing the wrong foundational things over and over and their games and/or scores never get any better no matter how many new golf clubs they buy.

And this collection of 3 of my most important lessons, if you truly apply them, I promise you will do more for your golf game, your swing, ball striking and the consistency of your scores… more than you can imagine.
What we are going to cover;

#1 We are going to cover the essential aspect of “taking dead aim” and how to do it exactly for the biggest improvement on every shot you hit. This lesson s a snippet from our very popular foundation program called The S.I.M.P.L.E Process and this lesson alone can shave several shots off your score. The only challenge you will face is doing it for every shot. Once you make this a principle, you will NEVER look back.

#2 Starting the swing is a struggle for too many golfers. be it tension, thinking about the takeaway positions or freezing due to fear of a bad shot or too many swing thoughts. The takeaway and the start of the swing can and should be a MOVEMENT and natural and REPEATABLE without requiring hours of practice. And this lesson will start you on the right road to a smooth, consistent start of the swing with tempo and sequence for power and consistency. And this lesson is a snippet from one of the series within The Art Of Simple Golf Club

#3 One of the biggest errors I see is golfers just hitting AT the ball.
Trying to force shots to happen. Trying to make the body do the hard work and be focussed too much on the ball. Specifically hitting AT the ball rather than a swing. Remember, it’s a “golf swing” not a “golf hit”. I use Nick Faldo as my muse here and I assure you, when you apply this focus and key swing feel on the course, your shots will be better and swing will be freer.

Let’s get started.

THE INTERMEDIATE POINT IS YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND

Strategy… It is imperative that you have one for every drive, iron, chip and putt, otherwise you are just not giving yourself a correct task to try and achieve.

For example, I said to you to throw the basketball into the net from the free throw line for $1000, you would know exactly what you need to do. Whether you are LeBron or not, your instinct, reactions and calculations happen in split second in the brain to react to the task given. NOT the other way round. When we are on the course, we have to put in extra effort… there are lots of things knocking us off line.

Do not make the mistake here of thinking you don’t need to try and be so precise because you are not a single figure golfer or anything… The more precise you are the better…

Because you are telling your brain and body exactly what you want to do. If you think “just hit the ball”, if you are off a few % there, the results can be disastrous but if you are focussed on hitting a leaf 200 yards away, margin for error that hurts the end result will be minimal.

When you allow your brain to focus on a specific target it will, if you allow it perform a perfect golf swing specific to that intended target.

So like one of our other simple golf lessons on “taking dead aim” with each and every shot you hit, this takes it a one step further and helps you match the golf swing needed to hit that target with the shot shape, ball flight and trajectory that is optimal for that specific golf shot.

However, sometimes the brain can lose focus and struggles to dial in on a target that is far away… So if you make an intermediate point your main focus, you will give yourself a better chance of staying with the shot and executing a swing that delivers the desired rhythm and result that you were intending.

There is a reason Jack Nicklaus did just this. Same goes for Justin Rose and many other PGA and Lpga Tour players. So it makes sense to use this simple golf tip to be more consistent because it has nothing to do with golf swing mechanics or instruction… It’s about letting your body focus on the objective and allowing a natural swing method to evolve.

If you watch a video of Jack Nicklaus in his prime target, intermediate point ball, intermediate point target, Intermediate Point Ball, you saw Jack’s head moving in exactly that way so he couldn’t live without that intermediate point because that’s when he needed to swing into his moving pictures.

That’s exactly what we do. We have a moving picture about where you want to start the ball, where you want the ball to end. Be like Jack.

HOW TO START YOUR GOLF SWING

How to make a perfect golf swing takeaway every time and the Golf swing takeaway made easy with a overlooked aspect of the golf swing and how most instruction teaches you.

Do you stall and freeze over the golf ball? If you start the golf swing for momentum, and realize it’s a swing, a move, not a hit and not have tension in your swing, you will reap the benefits for sure.

Stop worrying how to make a takeaway in your golf swing with using momentum and how to stay connected in your takeaway and have a consistent golf swing that is not about placing golf swing positions.

We need momentum and we need to use that sequence to gather and throw and the feeling of throwing this club. That way is so profound. When people get it, it frees up the swing, it frees up the start of the swing.

STOP HITTING “AT” THE GOLF BALL… THE KEY IS GETTING THROUGH.

HITTING AT THE BALL IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST, DETRIMENTAL ASPECTS OF A GOLF SWING THAT HURTS 90% OF GOLFERS.

AND I DON’T WANT YOU TO BE ONE OF THEM!

So this lesson is about getting through the ball with ease and it gives you a simple, key feel to aim to TOUCH THE KNEES TOGETHER upon your finish.

You see some Golf Tips From The Pros are relevant when we can apply it to simple golf swing technique and feels.. and Sir Nick Faldo was renowned as great ball striker and hit golf swing tempo was smooth and getting through the golf ball instead of hitting AT the golf ball is key.

And this is an easy golf swing tip that will give instant results next time you play and the golf swing is so much easier with an effortless golf swing the pulls through, not at it.

But to have a good golf swing release and a balanced finish a very simple and one of the best golf tips from the pros is to swing through by one golf swing thought… Touch the knees and thighs together after impact.

It’s truly incredible as to what this can do for your golf swing and ball striking. Instant results no matter if you are beginner golf player or a golf senior swing wanting more consistency and easy on the body.

And to do that so many good things happen in the downswing and golf impact positions that you do not have to think about, it happens instinctively.

It’s the foundation for an effortless golf swing power move and it’s a simple golf swing technique ANY and every golfer should use.
