Am I right that this is similar to an earlier video lesson about the left shoulder moving downward on the the backswing? In any case, this is a really good visual lesson. Makes it easier for a senior golfer to absorb.
Yes similar for sure.. same goal, different feel. But left down can lead to lack of back extension

My hip turn backwards tends to be “ flat “ meaning both hips stay at the same level Therefore I experience great difficulties to move thru the ball and take the divot on the target side , I tend to get “ stuck “ behind the ball . I compensate for that with an agressive “ bump “ forwards of the hips and by “ sitting “ on my legs before the downswing . All this is difficult to coordinate and I believe your “tilt the hips “ method more easy to perform
